Across Behira, Minya, Beni Suef, and Giza, CGS combined desk reviews, stakeholder interviews, focus-group discussions, and participatory analysis to capture learning from Village Savings and Loan Associations, income-generating activities, and value-chain integration.
The study also assessed how Farmer Field Business Schools improved potato yields and water-efficient irrigation. Findings synthesised successes, challenges, and forward-looking recommendations for gender-responsive agricultural programming.
