The Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE) commissioned Common Ground Solutions to carry out a market assessment and private sector engagement study for the Smart Villages Project in Soul and Al Brombl, Atfih District, Giza, to guide the selection of twenty micro enterprises led by women and youth. The study combines value chain analysis, enterprise feasibility screening, 6 focus group discussions, 10 to 12 enterprise assessments, 20 key informant interviews and capacity assessments of four local NGOs.
