Capacity development strengthens an organisation's ability to carry out functions it already owns - monitoring its own programmes, managing its own data, or applying a method consistently across teams.
CGS works with programme staff, government departments and partner organisations. Content is built around the systems and responsibilities already in place rather than delivered as a standard curriculum.
Training is designed against the tasks participants actually perform, and uses the organisation's own documents and data where possible. Sessions are practical rather than lecture-based.
Where the objective is a lasting change in practice, follow-up is built into the schedule, since a single workshop rarely changes how work is done.
